Regime forces targeted the town of Jisrain in Rif Dimashq with an Artillery Shell, killing 5 people including 4 children who had just left school. The Zabadein al-Hajar school in Zabadein (rural Damascus) was bombed with surface to surface missiles, launched by regime forces. The bombing, which took place whilst students were inside school, led to great material damage to the school, although no injuries were recorded.
Twelve civilians were killed (among them at least eight children) and others were injured, after a helicopter dropped an explosive barrel on a primary school in the village of Khalasa (southern rural Aleppo).
A school in the village of al-Muzara (Jabal Al-Zawiya) was targeted by airstrikes, which led to the wounding of seven civilians, all of whom residing in the school, displaced from Sahl al-Ghab. The airstrikes also led to the destruction of parts of the school.
Warplanes began targeting a school in the town of Deir al-Asafeer (rural Damascus), which led to the deaths of two civilians and injured dozens of others. Immediately after the raid, the students were transferred to the lower floors of the school, fear of subsequent raids.
