Artillery Shell Targets Civil Defence Team in al-Marj

Regime forces targeted the town of al-Mid’ani in al-Marj, rural Damascus, with artillery shells, killing one person and injuring a number of others. Whilst the civil defence rescued the injured, another shell fell close to the team, injuring officer Khalid Saleem and causing moderate damage to the ambulance they were using.

War Planes Continue to Target Deir al-Asafeer in al-Ghouta

War planes continue to target the town of Deir al-Asafeer in rural Damascus, in an attempt by regime forces and their foreign allies to raid the town which is controlled by battalions of the armed opposition. Fourteen air strikes were launched on the town on Thursday, although no casualties were recorded.

Barrel Bomb Attack on Khan al-Sheikh Camp

On Wednesday morning, helicopters targeted the Khan al-Sheikh camp and the Deirkhabiah Farms in rural Damascus with eight barrel bombs, causing great material damage to the residential buildings. No injuries were recorded.
