Russian Warplanes Commit Massacre in al-Atarib

Seven Members of the Media Killed in August 2016

The Syrian Human Rights Committee (SHRC) documented the killing of seven media activists during August 2016, all of whom were killed in Aleppo by Syrian regime forces. SHRC also documented the injury of three media activists, two of whom were in Aleppo and one in Idlib.

Three Children Killed in Cluster Bomb Explosion

Three children were killed in Taqad village (western rural Aleppo), when a cluster bomb left over by previous Russian bombing exploded. Russian forces have used cluster bombs in a widespread manner across rural Aleppo, especially in the period between November 2015 and January 2016.

Ten victims killed in a series of direct targeting on Old Homs.

The city of Homs witnessed intensive mortar shelling today, under the policy of the Syrian regime in targeting the old city continuously since about a year and a half. The mortar shelling on Old Homs today has lead to the killing of ten civilians, their names can be found in the Arabic section.
