Artillery Shell Targets Civil Defence Team in al-Marj

Regime forces targeted the town of al-Mid’ani in al-Marj, rural Damascus, with artillery shells, killing one person and injuring a number of others. Whilst the civil defence rescued the injured, another shell fell close to the team, injuring officer Khalid Saleem and causing moderate damage to the ambulance they were using.

Ghouta Ambulance Crushed by Rocket

Syrian regime forces targeted an ambulance of the Medical Biological Organisation in al-Baharia (the Eastern Ghouta) with rockets and artillery bombing, completely destroying the ambulance as it was being used to carry out duties. No injuries or victims of medical staff were documented.

War Planes Attack Civil Defence Centre in Idlib

War planes targeted a civil defence centre in the town of Kafrtkharim in rural Idlib at Wednesday dawn, killing one person and injuring five others, including an officer of the centre. A young female child that was caught in the rubble was also rescued. The bombing damaged an ambulance which was in the centre.

Zamalka Paramedic Team Attacked

An ambulance and paramedic unit of the Civil Defence were targeted by regime forces in Zamalka (the Eastern Ghouta), leaving six paramedics injured, two of whom are in a critical state. The attack also damaged the ambulance they were driving.
