SHRC documents the killing of 106 people in August 2021
The Syrian Human Rights Committee (SHRC) documented the killing of (106) people in Syria during August 2021, including: (33) children, (12) women, and (7) people who were killed under torture.
The Syrian regime forces were responsible for the death of (45) people, and the Russian forces were responsible for the death of (4) people, while ISIS was responsible for the death of (8) people, and the National Army and the Syrian Democratic Forces were responsible for the death of (7) people each.
SHRC documented the killing of (26) people due to assassination by unidentified persons, (15) people due to the explosion of landmines, and (4) persons due to the explosion of IEDs and ammunition.
Daraa governorate came first in terms of the number of casualties during this month in light of the violent escalation by the regime forces and Iranian militias, as the number of victims reached (33) people, followed by the governorates of Deir ez-Zor and Idlib with a total of (18) people each.
The total number of victims in Aleppo governorate reached (14) people, and (8) people for each of Al-Raqqa and Al-Hasakah governorates, and (7) people in Hama governorate.
