SHRC documents the killing of 135 people in March 2021
The Syrian Human Rights Committee (SHRC) documented the killing of (135) people in Syria throughout the month of March 2021, including (21) children, (23) women, and (6) people who were killed under torture.
The Syrian regime was responsible for the killing of (23) people, and the Russian air force was responsible for the killing of (7) people. Whereas the opposition factions were responsible for the killing of (5) people, and the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) were responsible for the killing of (4) people, and both ISIS and the Jordanian border guards were responsible for the killing of one person each.
SHRC documented the killing of (40) people due to the explosion of landmines, (31) people were assassinated by unidentified parties, (21) people were killed by the explosion of explosive devices, booby traps and shelling remnants, and (4) people died due to the severe cold in the Aynata area while trying to infiltrate the Lebanese territory.
The province of Aleppo preceded the rest of the provinces in terms of the number of victims, reaching (32) deaths, followed by Hama province with (30) deaths, then Daraa province with (20) deaths, and Hasakah province with (18) deaths.
The total number of victims in Deir ez-Zor province reached (14) deaths, (11) deaths in Idlib province, (8) in Al-Raqqa province , and (2) in Homs province.
