The Syrian Human Rights Committee (SHRC) documented the killing of (107) people in Syria during the month of January 2021, among them: (31) children, (4) women, and (3) people who were killed under torture.
The Syrian regime forces were responsible for killing (13) people, while both the Turkish border guards (the Gendarmerie) and the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) were responsible for the killing of one person each.
SHRC documented the killing of (42) people who were assassinated by unidentified parties, while (28) people were killed by explosive devices and booby traps, and (19) people were killed by the explosion of landmines.
The province of Aleppo topped the rest of the provinces in terms of the number of victims, which reached (27) people, followed by the province of Deir ez-Zor with (25) people, and then the province of Al-Hasakah with (14) people.
The total number of victims in Hama province reached (11) persons, (10) persons in Daraa province, (9) persons in Idlib province, (7) persons in Raqqa province, and (4) persons in Homs province.
