The Syrian Human Rights Committee (SHRC) documented the killing of (141) people in Syria during the month of October 2020, including (16) children, (6) women, and (10) people who were killed under torture.
The Russian forces were responsible for killing (27) people, and ISIS was responsible for killing (26) people, while the regime forces were responsible for killing (16) people, the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) were responsible for killing (3) people, and the opposition factions were responsible for killing (2) persons, while the International Coalition Forces and the Turkish Gendarmerie Forces were responsible for killing one person each.
SHRC documented the killing of (20) people due to the explosion of improvised explosive devices and booby traps, (20) people were assassinated by unknown persons, and (16) were killed by landmines.
Deir ez-Zor governorate came at the forefront in terms of the number of victims, amounting to (41) people, followed by Idlib governorate with (39) people, and then Aleppo governorate with (30) people.
The total number of victims in Daraa governorate reached (20) people, (5) people in al-Hasakah governorate, (4) persons in Homs governorate, and one person in each of the Raqqa and Rif Dimashq.
