A car bomb exploded in the city of Al-Bab on Tuesday 6th October, leaving 19 victims and over 100 wounded.
The incident, that occurred in the afternoon in the city centre near Othman Ibin Affan Mosque, which is surrounded by commercial shops and residential buildings, resulted in a strong explosion in a crowded area, which caused a large number of deaths and injuries.
Civil defence teams (the White Helmets) were evacuating the injured and taking them to hospitals, while the security services cordoned off the place.
As bombings and assassinations became frequent in the Syrian opposition areas, the Turkish government accuses the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) and Kurdish separatist forces of being complacent in these operations.
