Dead and wounded in an explosion in Ras al-Ayn

12-September-2020 By shrc_admin

Explosion in Ras al-Ayn market 12/9/20

An explosive device has exploded just before noon today (Saturday, September 12), inside a commercial market near the post office intersection in Ras Al-Ayn city (Sari Kani) in Al-Hasakah governorate killing 4 people and wounding 6 others.

Another explosive device also has exploded in the city causing material damage, while the Turkish forces were able to defuse a third one.

Sources of the National Army stated that the injuries were transferred to Ras al-Ain Hospital, while critical cases were transferred to Turkish hospitals.

While no party has claimed responsibility for these repeated bombings of civilians, the Syrian National Army, which controls the city with the support of the Turkish army, blames the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) for these attacks with improvised explosive devices, cars and bicycles.
