SHRC documents the killing of 122 people in Ramadan

The Syrian Human Rights Committee (SHRC) has documented the killing of (122) people during the month of Ramadan 2020, including (14) children, (6) women, and (9) people who were killed under torture.

The Syrian regime forces were responsible for the killing of (10) people, the Kurdish forces were responsible for the killing of (6) people, the opposition factions were responsible for the killing of (4) people, while the Turkish gendarmerie was responsible for killing two people, and the Russian forces were responsible for the killing of one person.

SHRC has documented the death of (53) people due to booby-traps and improvised explosive devices, (28) assassinated by unknown persons, and (5) people killed by landmines.

The province of Aleppo topped the rest of the provinces in terms of the number of victims, reaching (58) people, followed by Deir ez-Zor Province with (30) people, and then Idlib Province with (11) people.

The total number of victims in Daraa Province was (9) persons, (6) people in al-Hasakeh province, (4) people in al-Raqqa province, and one person in each of the provinces of As-Suwayda, Homs, Hama, and Rif Dimashq.
