Hawaij village , Deir ez-Zor province
The local Ein Al-Furat network reported that two people were killed when an explosive device exploded near a mosque in Deir ez-Zor.
The network pointed out that the explosion hit the area of Ismail Al-Omair Mosque in the town of Hawaij, which is controlled by the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), after the evening prayers on Sunday (19 April), to learn that the explosion was caused by an explosive device.
The network, quoting its correspondent, added that the explosion killed the two people who were planting it, noting that a car came to the place and the two bodies were recovered before they were identified by the people of the area.
It should be noted that most of the areas outside the control of the regime have frequent incidents of IED explosion and assassination
Daraa Unknown Explosion
A correspondent of “Aleppo Today”, in Daraa, said that a child named “Basem Mahmoud Issa” was killed and his father was seriously injured, after an unknown explosion in the western countryside of Daraa yesterday, Saturday (18 April).
The correspondent added, that the explosion occurred in a tire repair shop, owned by the father of the child in the village of “Amuriya” near the town of Zizoun in the western countryside of Daraa, and the causes of the explosion were not known until this moment.
It is worth noting that a 10-year-old boy was killed by a landmine explosion a few days ago, while he was grazing sheep with his father in the vicinity of the Air Force Intelligence branch in Daraa, according to the correspondent of “Aleppo Today”.
