Car bomb explosion in Afrin

10-February-2020 By shrc_admin

Civil Defence extinguish fire resulting from car bomb explosion in Afrin 10-2-2020

The Syrian Human Rights Committee has learned that a car bomb exploded in Rajo Street in Afrin centre in Aleppo countryside, on Monday, February  10th 2020, killing 6 civilians in an initial toll.

It is worth noting that the explosion caused many injuries, among them serious, which is likely to increase the death toll.

In areas like Afrin, which are controlled by the Free Army in conjunction with the Turkish forces, car bombings, which are not announced by the perpetrators, are usually attributed to the SDF militias, the regime dormant elements or ISIS.
