Hospital Director killed due to Russian air strikes

1-February-2020 By shrc_admin

Dr. Zakwan Tamma’

Dr. Zakwan Tamma’, the director of Al-Shami Hospital in Ariha,  Idlib province, died today of his wounds, as the hospital suffered Russian air strikes two days ago on January 29/2020, which completely destroyed it, leaving it out of service, killed 12 workers and patients, and injured a large number of others. The information available to the Syrian Human Rights Committee indicates that 11 hospitals were destroyed in January by the Russian and the Syrian regime air forces.

The Syrian Human Rights Committee holds the regime and Russian forces responsible for the systematic killing, the scorched earth policy, war crimes and against humanity, and demands the international community to immediately stop them and hold the criminals accountable.
