Painful Scene, Ma’arat al-Nu’man Wholesale Market Massacre
On Monday, December 2, Russian and Syrian regime warplanes committed a horrific massacre in Ma’arat al-Nu’man city in Idlib southern countryside, in which 10 civilians were killed and 11 others were seriously injured.
Warplanes targeted the green wholesale market in the city centre, which is crowded with large numbers of civilians, and the number of casualties is likely to increase.
Similar shelling by warplanes hit the green wholesale market in Saraqeb city, east of Idlib, killing 1 person and wounding 2 others, in addition to the destruction of houses near the market.
Russian and the Syrian regime warplanes targeted the village of al-Haraki, near Ma’arat al-Nu’man, in conjunction with other bombardments on the towns of Kafar sajna, Kafranbel, Hass, Bursa, al-Raffa and al-Halba inIdlib southern countryside.
warplanes missiles also targeted Tal Krusyan village and Jarjanaz town in Idlib south eastern countryside.
In Idlib western countryside, warplanes targeted Kansafra town in Jabal Al-Zawiya and Al-Kanayes town, wounding a number of civilians.
The Syrian Human Rights Committee holds the Russian and Syrian regime forces responsible for the brutal and systematic killing and destruction and demands an immediate interruption, and ask the international community to bring perpetrators to justice.
