On the International Day of Remembrance of all the Victims of Chemical Warfare, the Syrian people recall the affliction of the regime of Bashar al-Assad, who has used chemical weapons since 2012 about 217 times.
Thousands of people have been killed, wounded and disabled, and it is no coincidence that a regime used chemical weapons as used by this regime with impunity with international cover. Russia has vetoed the Security Council six times out of 13 times in its favour to prevent its punishment for these internationally prohibited and criminal acts.
The Syrian Human Rights Committee calls on the international community to refer this file to the international judiciary and to hold those responsible implicated and punished for their crimes against humanity and the killing of thousands of Syrian people.
