The Syrian Human Rights Committee (SHRC) has documented the death of 199 civilians in October 2019, including 27 children, 17 women and 20 detainees killed under torture.
The Syrian regime was responsible for the death of 43 people, Russian warplanes were responsible for the death of 12 people, while the Kurdish militias were responsible for the death of 56 people. Turkish forces and the National Army, which were involved in the Operation of Peace Spring, took responsibility for the death of 10 people.
SHRC documented the death of 34 people due to landmine blasts, 31 people were killed by explosive devices and booby-traps, and 19 people were assassinated by unknown persons.
Idlib province came first among the provinces in terms of the number of victims, where it reached (49) people, followed by the province of al-Raqqa with (38) people, and then Aleppo province with (36) people, and al-Hasakeh province with (31) people.
The death toll in Deir ez-Zor reached (21), (11) in Hama, (8) in Daraa, (3) in Rif Dimashq, and (2) in Homs.
