The daily report of victims of human rights violations in Syria 5-8-2019

An explosive device explosion in al-Bab city

The total number of victims confirmed by the Syrian Human Rights Committee in Syria on Monday 5th August 2019, reached 14 people including a child and 2 people who were killed under torture.

In Aleppo province, 6 people were killed  including 4 in the explosion of improvised explosive devices in their cars in the cities of al-Bab, Azaz and Jarabulus, and 2 were shot dead by the Turkish border guards, one while trying to sneak into Turkish territory illegally, and the other while working at his home in the bordering village of Siftek.

In Idlib province, 2 people were killed by an explosive device in his car in Bennesh city and the other under torture in Sednaya military prison.

In Hama province, 4 people from one family were killed due to the bomb attack on Murek city.

In Deir ez-Zor province one person was killed under torture in the prisons of the SDF Kurdish militia in al-Omer oil field.

In al-Raqqa provine, a person was also shot dead by SDF Kurdish militia in Tal al-Abyad city.

The Syrian Human Rights Committee documented the names of the following victims:

  1. Akef Ahmad al-Llari / Idlib-Biksraya / under torture in Sednaya Military Prison

2 – Raed al-Muhair / Idlib / died affected by his wounds from a bomb explosion in his car in Bennesh city.

3 – Hisham Mustafa / Aleppo – al-Safirah / shot by Turkish border guards while trying to infiltrate the Turkish territory.

4- Hussein al-Amin / Aleppo countryside / due to an explosive device explosion in his car in Jarabulus city.

5 – Hosni Marashi / Aleppo countryside / due to an explosive device explosion in his car in Azaz city.

6 – Maher Hassan 17 years old / Aleppo countryside – Kubani / shot by Turkish border guards while he was in his house in Seftek village.

7 – Kamal al-Tillawi / Homs / died of wounds sustained by an explosive device in his car in the city of al-Bab.

  1. Ahmad Abu al-Qaq / Hama-Murek / due to the shelling of the city
  2. Khalid Abu al-Qaq / Hama- Murek / due to the shelling of the city

10 – Ibrahim Abu Qaq / Hama – Murek / due to the shelling of the city

11 – Ahmed al-Owais / al-Raqqa / shot by SDF Kurdish militia in Tal al-Abyadh city

12- Abdul Fattah Hamoud Al-Mudhesh / Deir ez-Zor / under torture in the prisons of SDF Kurdish militia in al-Omar oil field.
