The total number of victims confirmed by the Syrian Human Rights Committee in Syria on Friday 17th May 2019 reached 11 people of whom 5 children and 5 women.
In the province of Idlib, 9 people were killed, of whom 5 by the shelling of the city of Ma’arat al-Nu’man, 3 by the shelling of the town of Kafr Ruma, and 1 by the shelling of the village of Tal Karasian.
Two people were killed in the province of Aleppo, one by a landmine explosion in the town of Huwair al-Eis and the other by clashes between Ahrar al-Sharqiya faction and another armed group in Tarhin camp in the south of the city of Al-Rai.
The Syrian Human Rights Committee documented the names of the following victims:
1 – Tamer Znbalkji / Idlib – Maarat al- Nu’man / due to the bombing of the city
2 – daughter of Tamer Znbalkji / Idlib – Maarat al- Nu’man / due to the bombing of the city
3 – Fayza Znbalkji / Idlib – Maarrat al-Numan / as a result of the bombing of the city
4 – Hana Kamel / Idlib – Maarat al- Nu’man / due to the bombing of the city
5 – Fawzia Idris / Idlib – Maarat al-Nu’man / due to the bombing of the city
6 – Fatima Hammadi / Idlib – Kfar Ruma / due to the shelling of the town
7 – Fadia Qantar / Idlib – Kfarroma / due to the shelling of the town
8 – Mohammed Yazen al-Shamali / Idlib – Kfar Ruma / due to the shelling of the town
9- Nayef Mohammed al-Nasaf / Idlib – Tal Krasian / due to artillery shelling on the village.
10- A child, Abdullah Khalil al-Yusuf / Deir ez-Zor, was shot in the head during an exchange of fire between the Ahrar al-Sharqiya group and an armed group in Tarhin refugee camp.
