The Daily Report of Victims of Human Rights Violations in Syria 16-3-2019

Women and children in Deir ez-Zor desert looking for Truffle 

The total number of victims documented by the Syrian Human Rights Committee on saturday, 16-3-2019 reached 24 people of whom 5 children and 18 women.

In the province of Deir ez-Zor, 17 people of whom 16 women, were killed by a landmine explosion in Badiat al-Shula during their search for truffles. One person was also killed by an unidentified gunmen and his body was found near the village of Mujel in the province northern countryside.

In the province of Hama, 3 people: two ladies and a girl, were killed in the shelling of the town of Al-Tuwaina and al-Mohajirin village.

In the province of Homs Homs, 4 infants under one month of age died from malnutrition and lack of health care in Al-Rukban camp, whilst the camp has been under siege by the regime and Russia for more than three weeks.

The Syrian Human Rights Committee documented the names of the following victims:

1 – Fatim Ali Saleh / Deir ez-Zor – Shmitia / due to a landmine explosion in Badiat  al-Shula

2 – Amina Mohammed Ali / Deir ez-Zor r – Shmitia / due to a landmine explosion in Badiat  al-Shula

3- Sabha Issa al-Salem / Deir ez-Zor – Shmitiya / due to a landmine explosion in Badiat  al-Shula

4 – Allawi Al-Hussein / Deir ez-Zor – Shmitiya / due to a landmine explosion in Badiat  al-Shula

5 – Maryam Abdullah al-Hawi / Deir ez-Zor – Shmitiya / due to a landmine explosion in Badiat  al-Shula.

6- Ghaziya Mohammed Al-Latif / Deir ez-Zor – Shmitiya / due to a landmine explosion in Badiat  al-Shula.

  1. Fatima Khalaf al-Salama / Deir ez-Zor – Shmitiya / due to a landmine explosion in Badiat al-Shula.
  2. Yasmin Taha al-Abbas / Deir ez-Zor – Shmitiya / due to a landmine explosion in Badiat al-Shula.

9- Dalal al-Hussein / Deir ez-Zor – Shmitiya / due to a landmine explosion in Badiat  al-Shula.

10- Sobha Hassan al-Hamad / Deir ez-Zor – Shmitiya / due to a landmine explosion in Badiat  al-Shula 11- Sobha Hilal Eid / Deir ez-Zor – Shmitiya / due to the explosion of a landmine in Badiat al-Shula.

12- Gazl Faisal al-Abd / Deir ez-Zor – Shmitiya / due to a landmine explosion in Badiat  al-Shula.

13- Kafa Faisal al-Abd / Deir ez-Zor – Shmitiya / due to a landmine explosion in Badiat  al-Shula.

14- Sobha Hilal al-Mahmoud / Deir ez-Zor – Shmitiya / due to a landmine explosion in Badiat  al-Shula.

15 – Sumaya Hamad al-Jawer / Deir ez-Zor – Shmitiya / due to a landmine explosion in Badiat  al-Shula.

16- Fatima Hamad al-Khalifa / Deir ez-Zor – Al-Shmitiya / due to a landmine explosion in Badiat  al-Shula.

  1. Fatima Abdel Hadi Baha el-Din, 1 week old / / Homs / Palmyra / died due to lack of health care and nutrition in al-Rukban camp

18- Omar Khaled Al-Abdullah Al-Sargam, aged 2 weeks / Homs / Palmyra / due to lack of health care and nutrition in al-Rukban camp

19- Abeer Marjan / Hama province- al-Hawiz village / died due to an artillery shelling on the village of al-Tuwaina.

20 – Julia Abdul Mohsen Al-Azab / Hama province – Al-Hawiz village / due to an artillery shelling of the village of al-Tuwainah.
