Shelling of Kafr Zita, Hama countryside
The total number of victims documented by the Syrian Human Rights Committee on Monday, 25-2-2019, reached 14 people of whom 7 children and 2 women.
In the province of Hama, 5 people were killed, 4 of whom by the shelling of the town of Kafr Zita, the village of Jabal Sulaiman and the towns of Zizafoon and Kafr Naboda.
In the province of Idlib, 5 people were killed due to the shelling on Khan Shykhun, al-Habeet and Khan al-Sobul.
In the province of Deir ez-Zor, 4 people were killed: one by unknown persons on the Syrian-Lebanese borders, another by a landmine explosion in the Shula area, and a third one was found dead and severely tortured in Abu Hamam desert. A woman died while giving birth due to lack of health care and not being helped to the hospital in the temporary Sour camp that was set up by the SDF militia for displaced people from the town of al-Bagoz.
The Syrian Human Rights Committee documented the names of the following victims:
1 – Saif Haidar al-Hamid / Deir ez-Zor – al-Ashara / Killed by unknown persons at the Syrian-Lebanese borders yesterday.
2 – Riad Trak al-Ahmad / Deir ez-Zor / by a mine explosion in the area of Chula during his search for the fruits of Kam’a
4 – Hassan Husayn / Hama countryside – al-Habeet / due to the shelling of the vicinity of Kafr Zita.
5 – Ahmed ‘Abd al-Ilah al-Shehadeh / 11 years / Hama countryside – Jabal Suleiman village / due to the artillery shelling on the village.
- Hamida Ahmed Al-Mohammed, 9 years old, Hama countryside, due to the shelling on Zaizoon town.
7 – Oqba Ibrahim Qundrak / Hama countryside – al- / due to the bombing of the opposition factions the city of As Suqaylabiyah.
8 – the girl Iman Jalul / Idlib – al-Habeet / due to theshelling of the town
- Hamzah Wardah / Idlib-al-Habeet, due to the shelling of the town.
10 – Ahmad Khaled al-Tani / Idlib-al-Habeet / due to the shelling of the town
11 – Abdul Hakim Sattouf / Idlib – Khan Sobul / due to the shelling of the town
12- The child Sidra Taher Khattab / Idlib-Khan Shykhun / due to the shelling of the city.
