61 victims reported to as dead under torture in Bashar al-Assad’s prisons from al-Mu’damiyah
The total number of victims SHRC was able to document in Syria on Sunday, 29-7-2018, reached 107 including: 6 children and 96 people died under torture.
In the province of Rif Dimashq, 62 people reported as dead under torture in the prisons of the regime forces., amongst them 61 from the town of al-Mu’damiyah alone.
In the province of Daraa, 13 people, including 7 reported dead under torture in the regime forces prisons and 6 due to the shelling of a camp for the displaced in the town of Koya.
In the province of Deir ez-Zor, 9 persons were killed, including 6 persons reported dead under torture in the prisons of the regime forces, 2 were found in the new town of Bakara. They were shot dead by unknown assailants. And 1 was shot by the Kurdish militia SDF.
In the province of Hama, 3 people were killed including 1 who died in a bomb blast in the village of Braidij and 1 in the shelling of the town of Beit Ras al-Ras.
The Syrian Human Rights Committee also documented the killing of several persons under torture in the prisons of the regime forces. Their names reached the departments of civil registry in their provinces, including 10 persons in Al-Hasakeh province, 9 in Latakia province and 1 in Homs province.
