On Friday 4th of May 2018, the surveillance cameras at al-Hikma Hospital at al-Bab city (province of Aleppo) recoded an act of storming the hospital and assaulting its team at gunpoint by Haked Bulad, known also as (al-Yaba).
Al-Yaba leads an armed group within al-Hamzah Brigade, one of the military factions in the area of the Euphrates shield.
Al-Yaba had stormed the hospital with a number of his group, and directed verbal and physical assault on the medical team, including nurses and receptionists. The group surrounded the hospital and opened fire in its vicinity, before moving to another private hospital of Assalam, shooting in its vicinity and attacking its team. It was not known why the group carried out the attacks on the two hospitals. On 5/5/2018, al-Hamzah brigade issued a statement announcing the expulsion of al-Yaba and his group from the brigade. Later in the day, the local police arrived in the city and he was taken to a public square in order to be slapped by one of the nurses who had been assaulted. SHRC 5/5/2018
