The Syrian and Russian forces continue their air and missile attacks on the towns of Eastern Ghouta in Damascus countryside. Civil defense sources and local correspondents reported that 25 civilians were killed Thursday morning (8/2/2018) in the towns of Jisrin, Kafr Batna, Sakba, Hamuriya and Arbin. Many of Jisrin inhabitants are still under rubble following bombing two homes by the Russian warplanes, and the local civil defence teams are trying to rescue them.
In the meanwhile; air raids, artillery and missile attacks continue on the towns of Idlib countryside, leaving more than twenty dead until the issuance of this statement. Saraqeb, Maarah Al-Nu’man and a medical clinic in the area of Meshmshan near Jisr-alshoughour.
The Syrian Human Rights Committee condemns the continuation of the Syrian regime, the Russian warplanes and the supporting militias by targeting civilians and killing the local population, considering this action amounts to crimes against humanity, and hold them responsible for them.
