The raids of the Syrian regime and Russian air forces continued on the eastern towns of the Eastern Ghouta. Today Friday, ten civilians were killed and the same number were injured following the raids on Harasta, Arbeen, Madiara, Douma and Sakaba.
It is worth mentioning that the eastern Ghouta has been besieged for more than four years and has a population of about 400 thousand inhabitant. It is the largest besieged area in the country, where the regime uses the starvation weapon, the prevention of living materials, as well as the burning of farms and the destruction of hospitals, schools and other facilities in close cooperation with the Russian air forces and sectarian militias.
The Syrian Human Rights Committee (SHRC) unequivocally condemns the raids of the Syrian regime and Russian air forces raids, considering them in addition to the strangling siege weapon a genocide against the inhabitants of the Eastern Ghouta.
