The total number of victims (which we were able to document) in Syria on Monday 08/01/2018 reached 48 deaths including 16 children and six women.
In Rif Dimashq province, 27 people were killed due to bombings of the cities and towns of Eastern Ghouta. They were distributed as follows: 13 in Douma city, five in Madira, four in Saqba, three in Arbin and one in each of Hamouriya and Otaya.
In Idlib province, 11 people were killed including: Five who were removed from below the rubble after ‘Thalatheen’ neighbourhood was bombed in Idlib city yesterday (Sunday 07/01/2018), five due to bombings of Saraqeb and Kanasfra, and one who was shot by the Turkish border guards as he was trying to cross.
Three people were killed in Homs province as Al-Farhaniya village and Al-Ghanto town were bombed. Additionally, one person was assassinated in Daraa province by unknown perpetrators.
Four deaths were documented in Deir ez-Zor province, including three in a landmine explosion from the remnants of ISIS, and one due to a warplane raid that targeted his car during the offensive on Al-Jerthi town. Additionally, two deaths were documented after a landmine from the remnants of ISIS exploded in Ar-Raqqah province.
