The total number of victims (which we were able to document) in Syria on Thursday 16/11/2017 reached 44 deaths including 16 children and two women.
In rural Damascus, 20 civilians were killed, 17 in shelling on Arbeen, Douma and the towns of Humuriya, Bait Sawa and Ash al-Waraw, and three in clashes with government forces.
Furthermore, 18 died in Deir Azzour, seven in shelling on Sawh al-Fara’I camp on 14/11/2017, 11 in shelling on the towns of al-Ashara, Sabikhan, the village of Daranj and Hawij Kati’.
In addition, two were killed in Ar-Raqqah, one in a landmine explosion and the other as a result of severe beating at the hands of Turkish border guards, where he died in Hospital. A civilian was also killed in a mine explosion in the town of Markada (Al-Hassaka).
The killing of a civilian was documented as a result of random shooting in Thahr al-Jabal (Al-Sawida). The killing of a civilian was documented in indiscriminate shelling on al-Sawiqa neighbourhood (Damascus) and another in clashes with government forces in Hama.
