Warplanes targeted Harasta city in the Rif Dimashq province on Tuesday with two air raids consisting of rockets loaded with the internationally-prohibited material incendiary Napalm.
The two air raids targeted residential areas in the city with four rockets in each raid. This led to the outbreak of fires in many residential buildings, and the suffocation of some civilians.
Despite the international prohibition of Napalm against civilians according to the 10/10/1980 ‘Geneva Protocol’, the Assad regime has used it since 2011 in it’s repetitive attacks on areas controlled by opposition forces and continues to do so.
