The total number of victims (which we were able to document) in Syria on Thursday 09/11/2017 reached 30 deaths including five children and three women.
In Deir Azzour, 18 civilians were killed; 13 in shelling on al-Bukamal, al-Ashara and al-Marashada crossings, Hawija Kati’ and the cities of Hajeen and al-Basira, four in shelling assumed to have been carried out by the international alliance targeting the village of al-Jazeera, and one due to the severe cold weather and the lack of medical care in the town of Thahra Hazira.
Furthermore, five died in Ar-Raqqah as a result of several landmine explosions remnants of ISIS in Ar-Raqqah neighbourhoods.
In addition, three were killed in Idlib, shot by Turkish border guards while attempting to enter Turkish territory. A civilian was also killed in Russian shelling targeting the town of Qastun (Hama).
The killings of two civilians were documented in rural Damascus, one in shelling in the town of al-Nashabiya, and the other as a result of the lack of food and medicine due to the siege imposed on eastern al-Ghouta. The killing of a civilian was documented in shelling on the town of al-Bawitiya (Aleppo).
