The total number of victims (which we were able to document) in Syria on Thursday 2/11/2017 reached 49 deaths including 15 children and four women.
In Deir Azzour, 36 civilians were killed; 21 in shelling on the town of al-Salahiya (rural al-Bukamal), 12 in shelling on the towns of al-Sayal, Ashayir, Hajeen and al-Basira (rural Deir Azzour), and three in shelling on Hawija Kati’ by regime artillery.
Furthermore, eight died in rural Damascus; six in shelling on Douma, one from wounds sustained in previous shelling in the town of Masraba, and a child as a result of kidney failure and the lack of medicine due to the siege imposed on eastern Ghouta.
In addition, a civilian died in Hama as a result of clashes with government forces. A civilian was also killed at the hands of unknown assailants near the village of al-Dariya at the Syrian – Turkish border (Idlib).
The killing of a civilian was documented as a result of the lack of medical care in al-Sad camp (Al-Hassaka). The killing of another civilian was documented in Ar-Raqqah as a result of health deterioration resulting from enduring one year and a half of torture in regime controlled Adra prison.
