Daily Report on Violations of Human Rights in Syria: 23/10/2017

The total number of victims (which we were able to document) in Syria on Monday 23/10/2017 reached 33 deaths including three children, a child and a woman.

In Deir Azzour, 17 civilians were killed; 15 in accidental regime airstrikes on al-Qusur neighbourhood under their control in al-Zur, and two as a result of landmine explosion in the village of Khasham and Badiya Deir Azzour.

The killings of seven civilians were documented in Deir Azzour at the hands of ISIS while under control of the city of al-Qaryatain.

Furthermore, six were killed in Ar-Raqqah, five in international alliance shelling, and one in a landmine explosion remnant of ISIS.

In addition, two died in Idlib, one in a car bomb explosion, and the other shot by Turkish border guards. A civilian was also killed in Damascus as a result of clashes with ISIS.
