The total number of victims (which we were able to document) in Syria on Sunday 08/10/2017 reached 54 deaths including 17 children, nine women, and three killed under torture.
In Deir Azzour, 17 civilians were killed; 15 in shelling on the cities of al-Mayadeen and al-Qawriya, the town of al-Ashara and al-Shamitiya camp, and another near Hawi Mahimada and al-Sheikh Yaseen neighbourhood. Two of the civilians were killed as a result of ISIS mortar shelling on al-Jura neighbourhood.
Furthermore, 16 died in Ar-Raqqah; 14 in international alliance shelling, one as a result of a mine explosion remnant of ISIS while attempting to flee Ar-Raqqah, and one under torture in a regime prison.
In addition, 11 died in Idlib, ten due to the targeting of a market in Ma’rrat al-No’maan by warplanes, and one in clashes with government forces.
A further three civilians were killed in Hama; one shot by a regime sniper, the other in shelling on Kafr Zeita, and the third under torture at one of the regime security branches in Damascus. Four civilians were also killed in Daraa, three in shelling on the town of al-Masima, and one under torture in a regime prison.
