The total number of victims (which we were able to document) in Syria on Wednesday 04/10/2017 reached 116 deaths including 16 children and a woman.
A staggering 95 civilians died in Deir Azzour. Among the victims were 78 as a result of Russian airstrikes on the water crossings in the province, distributed as follows: 36 in Al-Ashra, 30 in Al-Qurya, ten in Al-Hajeen and two in Hatla and al-Dablan. In addition, 15 civilians drowned in the Euphrates River while trying to escape the heavy airstrikes, one shot by ISIS, and another shot by the regime.
Furthermore, 16 died in Ar-Raqqah as a result of international alliance shelling targeting a well in al-Qataar (northern Ar-Raqqah).
The killings of four civilians were documented in Hama as a result of shelling in Kafr Zeita and the town of Qal’at al-Madiq. The killing of another civilian was documented as a result of artillery shelling on the town of Masraba (rural Damascus).
