The death toll in Syria on Friday 29/09/2017 reached 137 deaths including 24 children and 22 women.
A staggering 52 civilians were killed in Deir Azzour as a result of shelling, 19 of whom in the town of al-Bulayl, 17 civilians in clashes in the town of Marat Fawqani where no one is able to reach their bodies, five in the towns of al-Subha and Bariha, five in shelling on al-Mayadeen, and one in shelling on the town of Sawidan.
Idlib witnessed the killings of 42 civilians as a result of Russian shelling. Among the victims were 29 in Armanaz, nine in Harim, three in the town of al-Tamani’a, and one in the town of Kafr Jalis.
Furthermore, 22 died in rural Damascus; ten in shelling on the town of Bait Sawa, four in shelling on Douma, three in shelling on Ain Tarma, two in the town of Masraba, one in Harsata and Saqba, and one as a result of a previous head injury.
In addition, eight died in Aleppo, seven in Russian shelling on the towns of Urum al-Jawz and al-Atarib, and one during clashes with gunmen in Jarablis. A further seven civilians were killed in Homs as a result of artillery shelling carried out by the regime on Talbisa.
The killings of four civilians were documented in Ar-Raqqah, three in shelling, and one executed at the hands of ISIS. The killings of another two civilians were documented in Daraa, as a result of a bomb explosion carried out by the regime on the road connecting between the towns of Kafr Shams and Aqraba.
