Daily Report on Violations of Human Rights in Syria: 23/09/2017

The death toll in Syria on Saturday 23/09/2017 reached 33 deaths including a child and three women.

In Idlib, 11 refugees from rural Damascus were killed in Russian shelling on Khan Sheikhoun and the town of Tal Mardeekh (rural Idlib).

Furthermore, nine died in rural Damascus in mortar shelling on Jobar – Ain Tarma road. A further six civilians were killed in Ar-Raqqah, three in Qasd militia shelling while attempting to leave Ar-Raqqah, and three in a mine explosion remnants of ISIS.

In addition, four died in Deir Azzour, including three in warplane shelling on the town of al-Kharita and Mathlum, and Deir Azzour near al-Husseiniya crossing. The killings of two civilians were documented in Hama in shelling on Qal’at al-Madeeq.
