The death toll in Syria on Wednesday 20/09/2017 reached 31 deaths including 11 children and seven women.
In Hama, eight civilians were killed in Russian shelling on Qal’at al-Madiq and Kafr Nabuda (rural Hama).
Furthermore, six died in Ar-Raqqah; four as a result of a landmine explosion while attempting to leave the city, one shot by an ISIS sniper while attempting to leave Ar-Raqqah, and one in international alliance shelling.
In addition, a civilian died in Idlib as a result of Russian shelling on JarJanaz (rural Idlib).
A further four civilians died in Deir Azzour as a result of shelling on the towns of Khasham and al-Tub. Three children were killed in Al-Hassaka, as a result of a hand grenade explosion by their volunteer father in the Asayish forces.
The killings of two civilians were documented in rural Damascus in clashes with government forces. The killings of three civilians were also documented in Homs; one in clashes with government forces, another in shelling on Ar-Rastan, and one after he left a regime prison and transferred to intensive care. In addition, the killing of a civilian was documented in Qasd militia shelling on the village of al-Tweihneh in Mari’ (Aleppo).
