The death toll in Syria on Monday 18/09/2017 reached 26 deaths including eight children, three women, and two killed under torture.
In Deir Azzour, 15 civilians were killed; 11 in shelling on the town of Maraat, and the villages of al-Marashada and al-Tayba, three in clashes between ISIS and the regime, and one shot by a regime sniper.
Furthermore, five died in Ar-Raqqah; three in international alliance shelling, one in a mine explosion remnants of ISIS, and one shot by a Qasd militia sniper while attempting to return to his home in Ar-Raqqah al-Samra.
In addition, two were killed in rural Damascus, one in shelling on Douma and the other news of his death was received in prison after being infected with tuberculosis and left untreated but later released from Sednaya prison. An additional two civilians were killed in Hama in shelling on the village of al-Shar’iya.
The killing of a civilian was documented in Homs under torture in a government prison. A civilian was also killed in Al-Hassaka as a result of a motorcycle explosion.
