Daily Report on Violations of Human Rights in Syria: 31/08/2017

The death toll in Syria on Thursday 31/08/2017 reached 14 deaths including a child, a woman and one killed under torture.

In Deir Azzour, six civilians were killed, five in shelling on the town of al-Shamitiya and Zaghir Shamiya, and one as a result of a mine explosion remnants of ISIS.

Aleppo witnessed the killings of three civilians; one in Kurdish militia shelling on I’zaz, another in artillery shelling on Haritan, and one in clashes with government forces.

Furthermore, two died in Homs, one in shelling on Talbisa and the other in international alliance shelling on a car he was travelling in near the Iraqi and Syrian border.

A civilian was killed under torture in a government prison in Daraa. The killings of two civilians were documented in Ar-Raqqah, executed at the hands of ISIS while attempting to leave the city.
