The death toll in Syria on Thursday 24/08/2017 reached 16 deaths including three children, five women, and one killed under torture.
In Deir Azzour, four civilians were killed, three in shelling on al-Shamitiya, Deir Azzour and al-Kharita, and one as a result of a random shot during the aerial landing by the international coalition forces two days ago on the town of Baqras Tahtani.
An additional four civilians died in Homs, three in shelling on the towns of Tal Dahab and Kafr Laha, and one as a result of myocardial infarction after the air raids on Kafr Laha.
A further four civilians died in Daraa; two in indiscriminate shelling caused by inter-factional clashes, one during clashes with the regime, and one under torture in a regime prison.
Furthermore, two died in Ar-Raqqah, as a result of international alliance shelling. Another civilian was killed in Hama, as a result of shelling on Aqeerabat. The death of a civilian was documented as a result of suffering from leukemia and the lack of treatment due to the siege imposed on eastern Ghouta.
