The death toll in Syria on Tuesday 22/08/2017 reached 39 deaths including 18 children, eight women, and one killed under torture.
In Ar-Raqqah, 28 civilians were killed, 27 in international alliance shelling on al-Sakhani neighbourhood, and one shot by the regime while attempting to run away from forced military recruitment.
In addition four died in Deir Azzour, three in shelling on the Syrian Badia and the town of Hawayij, and one under torture in an ISIS prison.
An additional four civilians were killed in Homs, two in shelling on the towns of Taldu and Kafr Laha, and two shot by a regime sniper.
Furthermore, two died in Al-Hassaka due to deterioration of health conditions in al-Sad refugee camp. A civilian was also shot by Turkish border guards in Idlib.
