The death toll in Syria on Monday 21/08/2017 reached 32 deaths including ten children, five women, and one killed under torture.
In Ar-Raqqah, 20 civilians were killed as a result of international alliance shelling. Among the victims were an entire refugee family leaving Tadmur (Homs).
Furthermore, four died in Deir Azzour; two in shelling on Deir Azzour and al-Mayadeen, one executed at the hands of ISIS under charges of illegal media work, and one under torture in a government prison.
Aleppo witnessed the killings of three civilians; one in Qasd militia shelling in the town of Kaljabreen, another shot during clashes between the Free police and gunmen in Jarablis, and one shot by the 51 Brigade.
In addition, three died in Daraa in a bomb explosion on the road between the towns of Rakhm and eastern al-Kark. A civilian was killed as a result of wounds sustained in shelling in the town of Kafr Batna (rural Damascus) two weeks ago. Another civilian was shot at the hands of unknown assailants in Kafr Zeita (Hama).
