Daily Report on Violations of Human Rights in Syria: 17/08/2017

The death toll in Syria on Thursday 17/08/2017 reached 37 deaths including 13 children and four women.

In Ar-Raqqah, 27 civilians were killed, 26 in international alliance shelling, and one in mortar shelling in front of his home.

Aleppo witnessed the killings of four civilians; two in artillery shelling carried out by Qasd militia, one in mortar shelling, and another as a result of clashes with the regime.

In addition, two died in Deir Azzour, one as a result of shelling on the town of al-Masrab, and the other electrocuted after he was forced by ISIS to extend the electricity.

The killing of a civilian was documented as a result of artillery shelling on the town of al-Latamina in Hama. The killing of another civilian was documented as a result of shelling on Douma (rural Damascus).
