The death toll in Syria on Tuesday 15/08/2017 reached 23 deaths including seven children and one killed under torture.
Aleppo witnessed the killings of six civilians; four in mortar shelling, one in artillery shelling, and another under torture in a government prison.
An additional six civilians were killed in rural Damascus; four in clashes with government forces, one in clashes between factions, and one as a result of his illness and the urgent need for medicine but its unavailability due to the siege imposed on eastern Ghouta.
In Ar-Raqqah, seven civilians were killed; three as a result of a mine explosion remnants of ISIS, two in Qasd militia shelling, and one in shelling on Ar-Raqqah.
Furthermore, three died in Damascus; one due to the siege and weak medical facilities in Al-Yarmouk camp, another shot by a stray bullet during a funeral of a member of the regime, and one under torture in a government prison. A civilian was also killed in Deir Azzour as a result of shelling in the town of al-Masrab.
