Armed Attack Kills Seven Civil Defence Officers

An unknown armed group carried out an attack on the civil defence centre of Sarmin city (rural Idlib) at Saturday dawn, killing seven officers that were inside the centre, in addition to stealing two vans, the white helmets that the civil defence is known for, and other possessions of the centre.

The attackers used silencers, avoiding any attention towards their crime at the time it took place.

The victims are:

  1. Basil Mustafa Qasas
  2. Ziyad Hasan Qadhanun
  3. Abdul Razzaq Hasan Haj Khalil
  4. Mohammed Deeb al-Hir
  5. Mohammed Shabeeb
  6. Mohammed Karouma (Homs)
  7. Obeida (Homs)
