Daily Report on Violations of Human Rights in Syria: 08/08/2017

The death toll in Syria on Tuesday 08/08/2017 reached 38 deaths including 20 children and seven women.

In Ar-Raqqah, 26 civilians were killed, 22 from refugee families from Tadmur (Homs) as a result of international alliance shelling, and four in a landmine explosion remnants of ISIS.

Furthermore, five died in Daraa, in the explosion of an ammunition warehouse. A further four civilians died in rural Damascus, three in clashes with government forces, and one in shelling.

The killings of three civilians were documented in Deir Azzour, two in Russian airstrikes on al-Mayadeen, and one in ISIS shelling on the besieged al-Qusur neighbourhood (Deir Azzour).
