The death toll in Syria on Monday 07/08/2017 reached 23 deaths including six children, two women, and one killed under torture.
In Ar-Raqqah, eight civilians were killed; five in artillery shelling carried out by Qasd militia, one at the hands of ISIS in the vicinity of Madan while trying to get out of ISIS controlled areas, another due to the lack of medical supplies and the absence of necessary medication, and one in international alliance shelling.
Furthermore, six died in Deir Azzour; four in ISIS shelling on the besieged neighbourhoods, one in mortar shelling, and a child refugee while travelling from al-Mayadeen to Damascus.
In Hama, three civilians were killed, two in a landmine explosion, and one in bombing of explosive barrels in the town of Aqirabaat.
In addition, two died in Homs as a result of Russian airstrikes on the town of al-Qalee’, and the other under torture in a government prison. An additional two civilians were killed in Idlib, shot by Turkish border guards while attempting to enter Turkish territory.
