The death toll in Syria on Saturday 05/08/2017 reached 27 deaths. Among the victims were six children.
In Deir Azzour, eight civilians were killed; four executed at the hands of ISIS under charges of associating with the alliance and cursing the organization on Whatsapp, two in ISIS shelling on the besieged al-Jura neighbourhood, one as a result of airstrikes on al-Hamidiya neighbourhood, and one in clashes with the regime.
Furthermore, six were killed in Ar-Raqqah, five in international alliance shelling, and one in Qasd militia shelling.
A further three civilians were killed in rural Damascus, two in shelling on the town of Ain Tarma, and one in clashes with government forces.
An additional three civilians died in Aleppo as a result of Kurdish militia shelling on Mari’. Two civilians were also killed as a result of shelling in Hama.
The killings of two civilians were documented in clashes with government forces in al-Sawida. The killings of an additional two civilians were documented as a result of international alliance shelling on the village of al-Hamadi (Al-Hassaka).
The Syrian Human Rights Committee also documented the killing of a civilian as a result of shelling, believed by the international alliance.
