Tahreer al-Shaam Fire Live Ammunition at Protesters

19-July-2017 By admin2

Elements of the Hay’at Tahreer al-Shaam (formerly An-Nusra Front) fired live ammunition into a protest which was taking place in the city of Saraqib (rural Idlib) in an attempt to  disperse the protest which was calling for  the group to leave the city, killing media activist Musab al-‘Azo (43 years) and injuring several others.

Prior to joining the protest in which he was killed, al-‘Azo had filmed a video in which he displayed a clear drive to protest in order for the Front to leave the city.

The province of Idlib has been witnessing widespread clashes between Hay’at Tahreer al-Shaam and Ahrar al-Shaam since two days ago.
