The death toll in Syria on Wednesday 19/07/2017 reached 77 deaths including 22 children and ten women.
A staggering 40 civilians were killed in Ar-Raqqah; 21 in international alliance shelling, 15 as a result of Russian shelling on the towns of Ma’dan and Zur Shamr, two in mine explosions remnants of ISIS in the village of Maruda, and two in artillery shelling in Ar-Raqqah.
In Deir Azzour, 21 civilians died; 16 in Russian warplane shelling on the town of Ayash and al-Bulayl, two shot by a regime sniper near Al-Qalb Hospital, one in ISIS shelling on al-Harabeesh neighbourhood, and another executed at the hands of ISIS.
Furthermore, six civilians were killed in rural Damascus; three in clashes with government forces, one as a result of a bomb explosion remnants of shelling, another in shelling on Douma, and one shot by a sniper.
In addition, two died in Idlib, as a result of clashes between Ahrar al-Shaam and Tahreer al-Shaam, one shot by Tahreer al-Shaam while dispersing demonstrations in Saraqib. A civilian also died in Damascus, after suffering for 4 years with a nerve-strain disease caused by the exposure to sarin gas during the chemical attack on Jobar neighbourhood.
