The death toll in Syria on Saturday 08/07/2017 reached 24 deaths including five children, two women, and one killed under torture.
In Deir Azzour, eight civilians were killed, two in ISIS shelling on Harabeesh neighbourhood, and six in shelling on al-Mayadeen, al-Shamtiya and al-Mohsin.
Furthermore, five died in rural Damascus in clashes with government forces. A civilian from Yarmouk camp (Damascus) was also killed under torture in Sednaya prison.
An additional five civilians were killed in Ar-Raqqah, four in international alliance shelling, and a civilian in artillery shelling by Qasd militia.
Furthermore, two died in Homs, one due to a bomb explosion he was playing with, and the other in clashes with government forces. A further civilian was killed in Daraa as a result of shelling on the town of Iyb.
The killing of a civilian was documented in shelling on the town of Hasraya (Hama). The killing of another civilian was documented in Al-Hassaka in battles of Ar-Raqqah after being forcibly recruited by the YPJ militia.
